Bill Vobach’s blog, 717Madisonplace.com, was recently cited to the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of Oil States Energy Services, LLC v. Greene’s Energy Group, LLC. Two different amicus briefs cited the blog. The case concerns the constitutionality of the recently enacted America Invents Act legislation and whether the newly created Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings are constitutional, given the fact that IPR proceedings do not permit a jury trial.
